Taurus Rising/Asc & Sun
Taureans have been focused on home, family, parents or ancestral roots, with Mars retrograding in the 4th house. Perhaps some home renovations were taking place in the home (this is the case for me!) Mars will then retrograde into Cancer January 6th, your 3rd house of local community, siblings, and short travel (this can also involve our mind too, which is where we live a lot of the time!) These themes will come into focus and there could be some fated changes occurring here.
Pluto has arrived in your 10th house of career and public image. This means that at some point Pluto will square your ascendant, the 1st house of the self, character, the soul. Big changes are beginning in how you show up in the world (and who you are at the deepest level). You will be encouraged to become more real, vulnerable, empowered and renewed. A powerful new beginning may be occurring in career (or your public presence), and possibly related somehow to the fields of psychology or astrology! Increased power and magnetism can bring unwanted attention or dynamics with others at times, so remember to protect your energy as necessary, and to keep some things private. Success can attract envy, don’t pay it any attention and use your intuition to know who truly is happy and supportive of your wins.
Pluto asks of us to dig deep, to get to the core of any of our past wounds, triggers, fears, and deepest needs and desires. We become born anew, after a deep dig into the darkness, the uncomfortable journey through the underworld. Trust in this process, and take it slowly, there is plenty of time, and this healing work is ongoing, we will never be perfect and we would lose much of the beauty in being human in we were!
Uranus has spent quite a few years in Taurus, helping us break free, individuate, become autonomous, break co-dependency, and to find our unique identity and soul path. We are reaching the end of this process and maybe ready to face deeper connections with others again, in a new, interdependent way, where both are accepted as separate, unique beings, with the freedom to be authentically true to themselves.
In late May, Saturn changes signs into Aries, moving into your 12th house of the unconscious. There could be a focus on spirituality, shadow work and mental health from then on. There will also be a Venus and Mercury retrograde here, perhaps bringing spiritual connections back from the past and other fated circumstances. The retrogrades will also move into the 11th house of Pisces, reconnecting us with friends from the past, and the north node bringing fated connections or group involvements.
Jupiter will move into Cancer June 9th, for a year. This can increase our activity and social connection in the local community, increased short trips/travel, and bring more optimism to our daily thinking. Good fortune could come to a sibling/s, and Jupiter (a marriage, engagement, pregnancy or birth perhaps), and will also be bringing more expansion and positive experiences into Taurean’s lives too (sextile aspect).
Eclipses will occur in Virgo, the 5th house, and Aries (12th house) in March. Later in September, eclipses will occur in Pisces in the 11th house of friends, groups and dreams, and Virgo, the 5th house of children, fun, creativity and romance. This will bring changes, destined events, endings and beginnings in these life areas. Pisces, the sign of Venus’ exaltation is quite a romantic sign, and with the north node here over the next couple of years, we may enjoy an increase, or a healing in romantic connections!
